Compatible 20L barrels, made up of Ex Port, Sherry and Muscat barrels, are decanted into our 500L Portuguese Port Barrel. The 500L barrel is then left to age for 6 to 8 months before having half the contents decanted and bought down to 49%. The barrel is refilled and the whole process starts again. Each Solera batch\/release is unique and complex, it creates a journey of the senses with each mouthful.
