Smoke (!) - spearmint - sawdust

Water does nothing good on the nose...

A punch from the alcohol , smoke, pepper/chilli that burns alongside the alcohol, again sawdust (?) and a bit of bitterness.
Water brings out a bit of sweetness and a hint of mint and subdues the pepper and alcohol.Bitter and mostly on the back of the tongue and mouth, but also on the side of the tongue. It gets an almost beerlike aftertaste towards the end.
