Balvenie A Revelation of Cask and Character 19 YO 47.5% 700ml

The first original bottled fully matured sherry from Balvenie. Definitely not a sherry bomb. But the price is completely excessive. Tasted with David Stewart.

Plum, cocoa, ginger, nut, orange. Plus raisins, marzipan and cinnamon. Not too much sherry. Very nice, but not a wow experience.

Nice and oily. Nut, plum, orange and pepper continue to dominate. Plus a little tobacco and dust at the end.

The oak is now fully present. Very spicy and dry. The finish is a little short, but nice and intense.
