Kanosuke Single Malt 48% 700ml

This release marks the inaugural core range single malt whisky from Kanosuke Distillery.

“Mellow Land” is crafted using a combination of their three distinct pot stills and matured in re-charred American white oak ex-“Mellowed Kozuru” aged shochu casks. The whisky is carefully blended, with this key malt serving as the foundation before bottling.

Kanosuke Distillery is situated on the coast of Kagoshima, a location renowned for having the most beautiful sunset in Japan. The warm climate, combined with the Kanosuke team’s expertise in maturation, contributes to the creation of a richer, mellower Japanese whisky.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Golden Amber
Nose: Ripened citrus fruit (Karin), honey, banana, lemon tea, caramel
Taste: A sunset-like flavour with ginger, honey, and lightly smoked nuts
Finish: Sweet aroma, mildly bitter with a long, gentle finish
