The Balvenie PX Cask 18 YO 48.7% 700ml

Two new whiskies are being released by Balvenie for Travel Retail. Both start out with the distillery’s honeyed character, and dive deeper into flavour using Malt Master, David Stewart’s finishing process pioneered back in 1982. This edition is summed up as a "Summery" malt and comes in finished in casks that previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry. PX is the sweetest of Spain's numerous Sherry styles, the heat of the sun ripening then de-hydrating the fruit leading to a wine of intense, dessert-like sweetness.
