Delord Bas Armagnac Hors d'Age 40% 700ml (wooden box)

There are very few Armagnac vintages from the 1950s available. This is a very good Armagnac that has been in an oak barrel for a very long time and benefitted from its maturation.

Aroma: Vanilla, butter, pine, orange, prune, toffee and biscuit.

Distillation: Distilled at around 57 - 60 degrees. Lower than other brandies, providing greater wine flavors but less refinement than cognacs

Flavor: Well-balanced and mellow with citrus flavors, especially orange.

Grape Variety: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco

Reduction & Strength: Delord minimizes their dilutions wherever possible, but all of their Armagnacs are bottled at 40% abv.
